Star of Hope Mission's programs focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, and life management and recovery from substance abuse. Residents are provided with individual counseling services, referrals and other assistance designed to obtain permanent housing and make lasting life changes. During 2013, Star of Hope Mission provided 570,250 meals for hungry people, 364,298 nights of shelter for men, women, and children, and offered 212,493 hours of education.
