Cabbage Patch Settlement House fosters self-esteem and responsibility through purpose-driven programs in three core areas: ---Recreation/Youth Development; Educational Opportunities; and Counseling & Family Services. Approximately 1,000 - 1,200 at-risk children and their families participate each year. ---Located in Old Louisville, the agency serves a diverse urban demographic. In its service area: 59% of children live in poverty; 65% of households earn less than $30,000 a year; and 54% of those 25 or older have a high school equivalency or less ---The Cabbage Patch relies on contributions from individuals, organizations, churches and foundations. The organization receives no government funding and is not a United Way agency.
