Programs

              

Pitt Academy is fully accredited by the Kentucky Non-Public Schools Commission, Inc. Pitt is an independent K-12 Archdiocesan school with a non-denominational enrollment policy. Pitt sees students as individuals with a unique pattern of strengths, learning styles and challenges. Pitt focuses on a child’s abilities, not his or her disabilities. The environment at Pitt Academy gives students every opportunity to reach their own academic, social and creative potential in a learning environment that meets the needs and abilities of each student. Pitt Academy offers an individualized educational program, an adapted curriculum, trained instructors and a vibrant community that are committed to helping students develop the skills and self-confidence necessary to lead independent and fulfilling lives. In addition, Pitt Academy offers a Life Skills Program, a Community Based Instruction Program, and classes in music, art, technology and physical education. Pitt partners with outside agencies to offer speech, language, occupation and physical therapy services. Pitt Academy is also affiliated with and has teams involved in Special Olympics.
