1) Advocacy: BIAK advocates for laws that support our mission. The organization has been instrumental in passing mandatory seat belt laws, a graduated license law and the TBI Trust Fund. Currently the organization is advocating for insurance companies to cover cognitive rehab. 2) The organization provides education by sponsoring The Brain Injury Summit. 3) The organization does prevention by hosting helmet giveaways 4) The organization has an active outreach program that sees or contacts over 500 persons per year.
