Programs

              

The Women’s Center programs and services include the following:an emergency shelter, for women and children fleeing their abuser; a 24-hour Hotline to provide crisis counseling and information/referrals; individual and group domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse counseling for adults and children to heal from their trauma; family advocacy to provide support for the non offending parent(s)/guardian(s); Transitional Living to help women and their children lead a life independent of abuse; legal advocacy for both long- and short-term safety and other legal issues; community education and violence prevention to teach students and citizens about the extent and scope of abuse; employment and life-skills for financial empowerment and; childcare, which is provided free for adults utilizing any one of our services. We also provide free translation and interpretation in any language.
